Dru is influenced and inspired by both the neo-impressionist movement of the late 19th century and the expressionist movement of the early 20th century. His paintings are based on world wide travels and experiences. He applies primary colors in creating his works; using the canvas as a palette, he applies layer upon layer of paint to create the desired color and form
